Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my very first blog post!!

It was not hard at all to figure out what my first post would be about. I just knew I would have to showcase the most important thing that has ever happened to me. On September 6th, 2014 at 4:54 p.m., I became a mom to a wonderful, beautiful and happy baby girl. She is everything I have ever dreamed about and more. Ever since I could remember I have always wanted to be a mom. My favorite toys growing up were always baby dolls. I would share conversations with my friends about my dreams of one day being a mommy. What would I name her? Yes, I was so sure I would have a little girl.

Throughout the years, I planned my life around my future children and wanted a career where I could be a mommy first but also pursue something I was happy doing. Shortly after college, I was browsing the web and came across a beautiful professional image of two twin newborn babies in a basket and I was forever changed. I thought it had to be the best job ever! I remember thinking could I do that? Was it even possible? I decided at that moment to learn everything I could about the art of photography and became 100% invested. I remember dreaming of how awesome it would be to one day take beautiful pictures like that of my own baby.

I started studying photography in 2010, the same year I married my wonderful husband. He truly has been my biggest fan and has encouraged me every step of the way. I opened up my home studio in 2011 and have been blessed with the opportunity to capture memories for many amazing families. On January 1st, 2014, we found out the most exciting news of our life’s, that we were expecting our first child. We found out a few months later that we were indeed having a girl and needless to say, I was elated!

Like every newborn photographer I began planning her photo shoot months in advance.  LOL. I bought way too many props and spent way to many hours day dreaming. I wanted to capture every detail of her and freeze time. I knew that each day she would change so much and I wanted to preserve as many memories as I could. Here are just a few of the many images I took of her. We are so in love with her and thank God for choosing us to be her parents. Cora Marie Espinoza, we love you so much and can’t wait to share our lives with you!!

I’d be honored to capture your new little one, too.  I know even better the importance of preserving this stage of life before it’s gone.
